Surrey Film Location
Just one hour from London, Ramster Hall is a perfect location for filming. The house is in a Jacobean style with Elizabethan influences and has beamed and paneled rooms with wooden floors.
Adaptable Filming Venue
Ramster Hall and gardens is an adaptable venue with huge car parks allowing vehicles and catering to be located in one place.
The House
The main part of the house and Long Hall date from 1604. The Long Hall is 30 metres long with a vast inglenook fire place, polished floors, beams and paneling, the Great Drawing Room again with polished floor measures 18m in length. The Brick Hall is a light and sunny room full of interesting Japanese influences.
The Gardens
The gardens are both peaceful and well maintained with many areas left for wildlife to abound. 250 acres of farm land and woods surround the house with ancient woodland, wildlife and stunning blue bells in May.
Previous Filming
Previous filmings include Miss Marple and The Thatcher Years.
