Plants not to miss this week in the gardens.


The recent sunshine means the garden is definitely more advance than usual this year.  Our Rhododendron Loderi collection are still in full bloom, with lots of new buds opening up daily to showing massive heads of pink, cream and yellow scented flowers along Loderi Walk, just behind Magnolia Glade.


The bluebells are well into flowering now creating carp...

Our teahouse not only sells delicious homemade cakes, but also serves a lovely selection of freshly made sandwiches, soup and other snacks. 

Our drinks can be served in takeaway cups if you would like to find a nice spot in the gardens to enjoy.

Children are catered for too with some crayons and paper to keep them entertained.

Our carpet of bluebells are reaching their peak bloom. We recommend visiting this week to see them at their best. With the warm sunny weather they are out a little earlier, and with little rain forecast this is likely to be their best week.

There is so much colour to see in the garden this week.

One of the monarchs of the garden Rhododendron 'King George' with its massive pink and white scented blooms is looking magnificient.
