The garden is open for spectacular autumn 2019 colour
Ramster Garden is famous for it's spring colour, and in the autumn the garden takes on a very different, yet equally spectacular look. With a unique 100-year-old avenue of maples, woodland areas with oak and larch, American red gum tree liquidambar, and a collection of Japanese acers, the garden is lit with their fiery shades of reds and russets.

The garden is open from October 5 and will remain open until November 3, daily from 11am to 4pm. For the first time ever, the garden will be open for a four-week period to give you more time to explore its treasures.
Rosie Glaister, who runs the garden along with other members of her family which span three generations, is passionate about sharing the wonderful autumn sights. She said: "It was a big decision to open for this extended period as we are only a small team, but the autumn colour is so special the family wanted to share it with our members and visitors for as long as possible. The maples are simply magical and not to be missed."
Entry fees apply to the garden and dogs on short leads are welcome. If you've never visited the garden before, you can expect to stay between two and four hours.
