Christmas is a special time at Ramster, from choosing your Christmas tree and browsing our Christmas Market to creative workshops, family theatre, and posting your letter to Santa, there's plenty to enjoy in the beautiful surroundings of Ramster Hall and Garden.

Christmas Market

21st - 22nd November

10am - 5pm

Our popular Christmas Market returns, bringing together a wonderful selection of independent makers, local businesses and artisan stalls.

Browse beautiful gifts, handmade decorations, festive treats and unique finds, perfect for Christmas presents or a little something for yourself.

The Teahouse will be open throughout the day serving coffees, hot chocolates and festive refreshments. Children can alsopost their letters to Father Christmas.

There is a £3 charge to enter the market, no fee if you are just visiting the teahouse.

Christmas Trees

27th November - 21st December

10am - 5pm

Make choosing your Christmas tree part of your festive traditions with a visit to Ramster. From the last weekend in November we will have a huge selection of beautiful premium Christmas Trees for sale from our festive teahouse.

Come and enjoy a delicious hot chocolate or a mulled wine and a homemade mince pie while you wander amongst our trees and get friendly advice from our knowledgeable staff to help you find the perfect tree for you.

Christmas Creative Workshops

Make a Gnome & Take Him Home

Friday, 4th December 5pm

Saturday, 5th December 11am

Ramster will be hosting two Christmas craft 'Make A Gnome & Take Him Home' events. A wonderfully festive activity with friends and family, and a fun creative alternative to making a wreath.

Come and make a famous Ramster gnome to sit on your doorstep. We will supply you with all the materials and show you how to make a gnome with Ramster fir. You can enjoy this by yourself or as a family or with a group of friends. Coffee and mince pies will be available. Just bring some secateurs and gloves and an apron if you like.

£40 per gnome includes a hot drink and mince pie. Pre-booking required.

A magical theatre experience in our historic and festive Long Hall

A delightful adaptation of Aesop's fable by Pied Piper Theatre Company, performed in our festive Long Hall.

About opposites, time and friendship for children aged 3+ and their families.

Find out in this funny, tender, award-winning adaptation of the well-loved story as we journey through the seasons from bud-bursting spring to snow-falling winter in a production brimming with music, movement & colour.
