Calling all road riders, gravel adventurers, and cycling clubs! If you're exploring the stunning routes of the Surrey Hills, make Ramster Garden Tea House your perfect place to pause, refuel, and recharge. Nestled just outside Chiddingfold, we’re ideally located along some of Surrey’s most scenic and challenging loops—offering homemade food, hot drinks, bike-friendly facilities, and peaceful garden surroundings.

Here are just a few well-loved cycling routes where Ramster sits as the ideal mid-way or final stop:

🚴 Cranleigh Circular via Chiddingfold & Plaistow – 42 km

A local favourite, this gentle road route loops directly through Chiddingfold, making Ramster Garden Tea House a natural midway stop or post-ride reward. Expect light-traffic country lanes and classic views.

🚵 Surrey Hills Hidden Singletrack Loop – ~56 km

For gravel and MTB riders, this loop explores woodland trails through Hascombe, Hambledon, and Chiddingfold—Ramster sits right on your route between tough forest sections and open heathland.

🏔️ Surrey Hills Classic Loop (via Leith Hill, Coldharbour & Box Hill) – 67.7 km

A dream ride for road cyclists, this loop passes close to Witley and Hambledon, placing Ramster Tea House as a great detour after conquering the climbs.

💪 Surrey Hills “100 Greatest Climbs” Loop – 92 km

This challenge hits nearly every iconic climb in the area. Plan to refuel at Ramster roughly two-thirds through the loop (coming from Leith Hill via Dunsfold and Chiddingfold).

🚴 Greensand Way / Cycle Surrey Hills Trails – 30–70 km variations

If you're exploring the Cycle Surrey Hills Loops or tackling a section of the Greensand Way (Haslemere to Reigate), Ramster sits just off these trails—easy to incorporate via Petworth Road or Combe Lane.
