Christmas at Ramster 2025

Ramster Christmas Market November
22nd & 23rd November 10am - 4pm
Ramster Christmas Market will take place at the end of November 2025 inside the beautiful Jacobean halls and outside in the courtyard. This year you will find a huge variety of stalls selling a unique collection of locally made gifts including food and drink, beauty products, art, and homewares. Please note there will be a small entry charge to the Christmas Market to cover our costs of running this popular festive event which supports local artisans.
Entry to the market is £2.50 (under 12s free), includes a donation to Shooting Star charity.

Ramster Christmas Tree Shop 2025
November/ December 2025
Ramster will be selling a fantastic selection of premium trees which have been carefully selected to ensure the highest quality. Choose from a range of sizes and varieties including Premium Nordmann Fir, Premium Fraser Fir, and Norway Spruce. Ramster’s knowledgeable staff will be on hand to help you pick your perfect tree.

Make a Gnome & Take Him Home
30th November 12pm & 2pm
A lovely alternative to a wreath for your door… come and make a famous Ramster gnome to sit on your doorstep, we will supply you with all materials and show you how to make a gnome with Ramster fir 🌲. You can enjoy this by yourself or as a family or with a group of friends. Coffee and mince pies will be available. Just bring some secateurs and gloves and an apron if you would like. Fir will be cut to size for children attending.
Cost £35 for a 60cm gnome, to include a hot drink and mince pie. Pre-booking required.

Zoom by The Pied Piper Theatre Co

For the second year running, we are delighted to welcome back The Pied Piper Theatre Company to our festive Great Drawing Room. This year they will be performing Zoom, a play for children aged 3-8 years with music, songs and puppetry based on the theme of space & the environment.
There will be two performances at 11.30 & 2pm.
Cost £10 per ticket, £36 for a family of four

Ramster Embroidery and Textile Art Exhibition 2026
7th - 22nd March 2026 10am - 5pm
Ramster Embroidery and Textile Art Exhibition is one of the largest exhibitions of its kind. Over 250 pieces of the finest embroidery and textile art by leading artists from across the country will be on display and for sale within the splendid Ramster Jacobean Hall, the Great Drawing Room and Brick Hall.

The Plant Fair Roadshow at Ramster Garden 2026
26th April 2026 10am - 3pm
The spring plant fair at Ramster Gardens is organised by The Plant Fairs Roadshow - a collective of specialist, and award-winning, nurseries. The nurseries (some of whom are RHS Chelsea Flower Show medal holders) offer a wide range of locally grown, garden worthy and often unusual plants. This is a great opportunity to buy direct from friendly and approachable growers and get free advice on the best plants for your garden.

Surrey Sculpture Exhibition at Ramster Garden 2026

A collection of inspirational original pieces of sculpture set within a magical woodland setting. The stunning works of art will be staged within the garden, adding further drama to the breath-taking show of over 300 rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias which burst into colour at Ramster throughout spring.
